Lämplig utbildning kan finnas på högskolor och universitet, både i Sverige och utomlands, inom KKU, på folkhögskolorna och inom yrkeshögskolan.

Bra grundläggande utbildning finns på gymnasieskolans Estetiska programmet, inriktning Musik.

XLN Audio develops music production software used by hundreds of thousands of music producers, songwriters and bands worldwide. We have earned awards for software such as Addictive Drums and RC-20. We are now looking for a Sound Producer - to help us take the sound content to the next level. You will have a technical project manager role and get the opportunity to be creative, coordinate with sound content partners, and be involved in our sound product development process! As a Sound Producer you will… - Be a part of our sound content team and the sound product development process, from the first ideas to recording or outsourcing content, editing, mixing and mastering, to releasing the finished product to the market - Record, mix, edit and produce high quality sound content that will be used by hundreds of thousands of users in their music productions. - Be a project manager for sound production projects. These projects can range from big budget projects collaborating with big studios, to smaller co-op project sourcing collections of samples or presets from consultants or partners. - Contacting sound partners, selecting and acquiring content from those partners and making sure results are of high quality. - Be highly involved in all technical aspects of the sound product production process. Recording, editing, mixing and mastering. Sometimes you will perform these tasks yourself, sometimes you will coordinate with and delegate that work to consultants. - Work in XLN Audio's custom built production studios in Stockholm - Work closely with, and report to the Sound Product Manager (we are recruiting this position also) WHO ARE YOU? You love music and tech! You have a solid understanding and skills in audio production (DAWs, plug-ins, audio recording etc) and you also have great skills and understanding in audio production projects. This experience has preferably been gained as a working professional, for example as a Sound Engineer, Music Producer or similar. Your profile: - You have 5+ years of knowledge and experience working in music and audio production as a part- or full time professional. For example as a music producer, sound engineer etc. - You are organized and capable of planning and coordinating production projects involving multiple parties, equipment, studios etc, writing specifications, planning timelines etc. - You can work closely with others as a team member and also give clear instructions and specifications to consultants or co-op partners. - You are friendly and good at communicating and networking. - You feel completely at home working in one or more DAWs, using plug-ins etc. - You have really good ears - you can assess the recording and production quality of audio and music materials. - Fluent English skills in speech and writing. Swedish not required. You are highly capable of working in a dynamic environment and work towards deadlines and goals. You are a socially communicative person who enjoys networking. We are now looking for an A&R to join our Music team in Stockholm. Job description As A&R you will serve as creative and strategic liaison between signed artists and Epidemic Sound. You will find, nurture, and maximize musicians to offer them the opportunity to partner with us to work, develop, and earn money from their music while soundtracking the globe. You will be responsible for each part of the musician experience including Scouting, Signing, Music Review, Relationship Management, Release Planning, and Execution. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: - Serve as the main point of contact for 6-12 Artists based on genre, location, and workflow. Coordinating ordering, budgeting, and production of tracks and products by your roster of artists. - Continually prospect for new Artists and manage the scouting and signing of new music creators across a wide variety of genres and styles in your respective location. - Provide comprehensive feedback on their music to develop them into better producers, songwriters, instrumentalists, and vocalists with the ability to provide support on a co-production level. - Provide final technical creative approval for track, products, and assets by and for your artist roster. - Collaborate with Streaming and Design teams to plan and execute releases and packaging. - Administrate and review music submissions for consideration. - Network within the music creation, business, and educational communities to spread awareness of Epidemic Sound. - Effectively articulate Epidemic Sound’s unique rights structure and the benefits thereof from an artist's perspective to artists, prospective clients, etcetera. - Work closely with Directors of Creative Licensing and Licensing Managers to get a deep understanding of current needs from customers in North America. - Develop relationships with the music creator and music business communities in the US to achieve wider recognition of Epidemic Sound as a legitimate option for artists. - Maintain a rigorous understanding of music needs by business area both within the US and globally to direct US intake. What are we looking for? You have a superb work ethic, drive and passion for the artist journey, as well as top-notch organization skills, able to manage several artists and projects simultaneously. It would be music to our ears if you have: - 1-2 years of Music Business Experience - A strong network of musicians, artists, managers, influencers, and producers. - A comprehensive knowledge of the Music Licensing and Publishing landscape - 3-5 years of Music Production Experience or a thorough understanding of technical music production concepts Curious about our music?
