Designingenjören arbetar med design och produktutveckling. Du utvecklar produkter och system utifrån användarens behov och förutsättningar, med hänsyn till teknikens möjligheter. Du kan även arbeta med att miljöanpassa produkter för en hållbar utveckling.
Som designingenjör formger du produkter och system samt tar fram underlag för användbara produkter. Din roll som designingenjör är att ha kännedom om hela produktframtagnings-processen, från att identifiera behov till en färdig produkt. Genom att du förstår användarens behov kan du omsätta kunskapen i kreativa produktlösningar.
Bra förberedande utbildning finns på flera av gymnasieskolans nationella program, som Teknikprogrammet, inriktning Design- och produktutveckling, men även på andra tekniska program. På de gymnasiala yrkesprogrammen behöver du välja till extrakurser i matematik och i CAD och/eller konstruktion.
Det finns olika utbildningsnivåer för en blivande ingenjör. Du kan läsa till ingenjör på högskolor, universitet eller på en yrkeshögskola. En ingenjörsutbildning leder vanligtvis inte till ett specifikt yrke, utan ger många olika möjligheter att jobba med det du vill inom olika branscher och yrkesområden.
Efterfrågan på välutbildade designingenjörer är mycket stor, även internationellt sett. Kombinationen av design och teknik gör att du blir extra attraktiv på arbetsmarknaden. Ingenjörer, som i sin utbildning kombinerar tekniska kunskaper med ännu en annan kompetens, t ex designkompetens, kommer att även fortsättningsvis vara mycket eftertraktade.

This role will be part of the ESR Technology team that is responsible for developing and migrating the data warehouse to Redshift, setup Business Intelligence & reporting solution on AWS.
Your role and responsibilities
Manage one or more of ESR's operating systems or database products
Work throughout the full development cycle including requirements, architecture, system integration, data modelling, solution design, testing and quality assurance.
Responsible for large data volumes and building solutions that are scalable. You will continuously improve the performance, robustness and product usability
Work with system requirements, and deliver advice on how to design/acquire technology solutions that align to the strategy and business requirements.
We expect you to have
