Seriously. Don’t do it.

Unless...you’re okay with your days being filled with:

• Telling engaging stories to people from all over the world.
• Creating deep, personal, unforgettable experiences.
• Being part of a warm, colourful team of wonderfully unique humans.
• Challenging how people think about food.
• Guiding people outside of their comfort zone.
• The occasional vomit to clean up.

Still here? Good. That’s interesting.

At the Disgusting Food Museum, we don’t just show things.

We challenge, entertain, educate, and connect.

People come for the food. They stay for the experience. You ARE the experience.

Some people love a challenge, others need to be persuaded. Your job is to figure out which approach to use, and when. Be warned, people will swear at you lovingly forever.

If you’ve got butterflies doing somersaults right now, that’s probably a sign.

Tell us why you’re our next co-worker: https://disgustingfoodmuseum.com/finger-down/

Good luck.

You’re going to need it.

Öppen för alla Vi fokuserar på din kompetens, inte dina övriga förutsättningar. Vi är öppna för att anpassa rollen eller arbetsplatsen efter dina behov.

It’s a great opportunity to develop your guiding skills and gain experience in winter sea kayaking.

There may also be an opportunity to continue with us for the summer 2027 season.

What You Bring

• Recognized sea kayak guide certification (EPP, Paddle UK former BCU, or equivalent)
• At least 2 seasons of commercial sea kayak guiding experience
• Current First Aid certification
• Confidence kayaking in a range of weather and water conditions
• Strong group management and guest communication skills
• Good risk assessment and decision-making skills
• Reliable and confident working independently
• Driver’s licence; trailer experience is an advantage
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus
• Knowledge of Sweden and the Stockholm Archipelago, or willingness to learn

What We Offer

• Seasonal employment from late November to mid-April
• Possibility to continue into summer 2027
• Salary based on experience and qualifications
• 1–2 days off per week
• Assistance finding seasonal accommodation
• Support from our guide and operations team
• Free use of kayaking equipment on days off
• Complimentary sauna access during winter employment
• Small, international and supportive team
