Assignment Description
We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer
What You Will Work On
- Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related production issues
- Analyze root causes and implement corrective actions
- Support and maintain PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
- Perform PLC programming modifications and system configuration
- Provide technical support during production disturbances
- Improve automation system reliability and availability
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain technical documentation and change records
- Handle deviations and engineering change requests
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams
- Optimize automation performance and operational efficiency
- Support preventive maintenance activities
- Ensure automation systems operate safely and efficiently
What You Bring
- Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent
- 2–5+ years of industrial automation experience
- Experience troubleshooting automation systems in manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
- Experience with Siemens automation platforms (preferred)
- Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on experience supporting production environments
- Ability to work in fast-paced operational environments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Good English communication skills
- Swedish is an advantage
