About the RoleYou will join a cross-functional team that keeps test vehicles ready throughout the development lifecycle in a complex automotive environment. The work spans everything from preparing vehicles before handover to supporting updates, rebuilds, and fault tracing when configurations are still evolving.
In this role, you help secure that test vehicles are fit for purpose, available when needed, and maintained with the right quality. You will work close to vehicle management, logistics, and technical specialists, with a strong connection to workshop operations and product development. Job Description- You prepare test vehicles before registration and handover to users.
- You build harnesses and ETC solutions based on project needs.
- You perform electrical and mechanical fault tracing on complete vehicles.
- You update software and hardware based on work orders and project requests.
- You carry out repair work and support de-prep activities after the vehicle lifecycle ends.
- You investigate electrical issues linked to rebuilds where configurations are not yet fully developed or integrated.
- You support product development by updating and adapting test vehicles for different test purposes.
- You collaborate with suppliers when technical support is needed.
- You take part in expeditions and support test activities when required.
- You help secure timely deliveries with the right quality.
- You support the daily work in the workshop and contribute to good order through 5S.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or long practical work experience within the area.
- Preferably minimum 5 years’ experience as a workshop technician for complete vehicles.
- Experience in electrical fault tracing using computer-based analysis tools such as DSA and ZDS.
- Good complete vehicle knowledge within HW/EV.
- Good computer knowledge.
- Driver’s license B.
- Forklift license.
- Intermediate level in English, oral and written.
- You are comfortable working in a team, take ownership in daily work, and communicate clearly across the organization.
- You are available for domestic and international travel at short notice when needed.
- Experience with measurement and analysis tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, and INCA.
- Certificate for HV work (power up/power down).
- Certificate for hot work.
