Transformation Operations is responsible for the digital development of Stena Line’s Ship, Port and Terminal operation. What will you do? As Lead Architect your main responsibility will be to plan, design, support and govern implementations in the Operations domains to achieve our future target landscape across Cloud, on premise COTS and in-house developed applications. It will be your mission to determine the right design of applications and platforms to support the strategy while making sure our architecture principles are applied appropriately. You will report to and work in close collaboration with the Head of Technology & Architecture and be part of a team working on multiple initiatives across the department. Some of your key responsibilities: • Efficiently utilize your extensive experience and competence in delivering efficient and secure integration solutions on the appropriate platforms • Take lead on design, support documentation and implementation of multiple simultaneous projects by collaborating with all internal and external stakeholders. • Maintain close working relationships with the other Transformation departments and their architecture functions, IT Security relevant Group IT functions to ensure successful deliveries within established boundaries and in line with the overall target architecture(s) and governance structure. • Support in further developing and evolving Stena Line’s EA strategy • Capacity to act with integrity and safeguard the overall IT & Integration strategy and escalate concerns to relevant functions. • Assist the teams in translating organisational needs into technical requirements or solutions, while constantly evaluating and balancing cost versus value. We are looking for someone with a strong strategic background, with great leadership skills and a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, technology and their challenges. Qualifications • Significant experience from software architecture or design of relevant technology projects in an international company and a marine/logistic environment • Experience from mapping enterprise architectures through solution and technical architectures • Experienced in Cloud strategies and migrations, DevOps and Security covering both Infrastructure and Applications tiers • Experience making architecture decisions across multiple business systems and across a broad enterprise landscape ranging from Business/Application/Infrastructure architecture • Good knowledge of Enterprise Application Integration, Micro Services architecture, SOA, API Architecture including extensive familiarity with Integration Patterns. • Experience/knowledge of Enterprise Architecture and preferably relevant certification (TOGAF/IAF/ArchiMate/…) are meriting. • Fluent in English, written and spoken. • Experience from marine and/or logistic industry is meriting. Your Role and Responsibilities : As a Customer Success Manager (Architect) you will apply your technical skills to help our customers achieve their business outcomes with hybrid cloud & AI Growth Offerings. You will be responsible for use case identification, solution architecture design, MVP builds, and adoption of our Growth Offerings that run on Red Hat OpenShift. You will also guide IT executives through the changes needed to unlock the full value of hybrid cloud, show users how to get value out of their solutions, identify expansion opportunities, and work with the renewal team to ensure execution of the renewal process.

To be successful in this role you:

  • Demonstrate a history of success as a consultant, pre-sales, technical account management, enterprise architect, or equivalent.
  • Deeply understand customer business and technology needs; become the face of IBM to the customer.
  • Serve as a trusted technical expert for the customer’s cloud migration, deployment, and adoption of Hybrid Cloud & AI Growth Offerings.

Verisure is seeking an enthusiastic and driven IT Product Owner with e-commerce experience, to join our Group Technology Organization. Verisure is launching a new e-commerce MVP this autumn, and the Product Owner position is a great opportunity to join an exciting, new area that will grow coming years. Your primary responsibility will be Product Ownership for Verisures new e-commerce solution, working with internal and external IT and business stakeholders to maximize the value of the web shop. Additionally, to the daily PO work, you will play an important part of the e-commerce project during analysis, implementation and roll-out in the countries. The journey just started!   The e-commerce team is a newly established scrum team located in Spain. It belongs to Lead and Sales area, part of Business Applications within Verisure Technology North. The role will report to Lead and Sales area manager and will be based in Malmö.  Key responsibilities  * Understand, coordinate and document requirements from business stakeholders * Responsible for the team backlog, including priority. Feedback on changes or limitations to stakeholders during implementation * Iterative documentation with review and input from the Development Team * Sync and cooperate with other Product Owners and Solution Architects regarding solutions and way of working * Coordinate 2nd line support through follow ups on trends and major issues, lessons learned and maintaining communication channels * Coordinate and lead coming rollout of the e-commerce solution to the countries * In addition to the e-commerce solution, take product ownership for minor 3rd party applications What you bring You are driven, communicative, flexible and used to work and create structure in an engaged and solution-oriented way. You understand and have experience in defining different stakeholder’s needs and break them down to get an understanding of both the details and the overall picture. You are comfortable leading, directing and empowering team members without formal management authority in a complex environment. You need to be able to work independently and drive projects forward at a good pace with high quality. You enjoy working with cross functional teams and international stakeholders, both internal and external. You need to be comfortable communicating with senior management at IT and Business. To succeed in this role, you must be a team player and have excellent English skills, both orally and in writing, if you also know Spanish it is a plus. The tools we use is Jira and Confluence and we work Agile. We believe you have in total 10+ years of relevant professional experience in the IT industry, and 2+ years’ experience from e-commerce. Volvo is driving several exciting transformation projects and initiatives to digitalize our business processes and leverage the value of data and become a fully data-driven company. We are Virtual Lifecycle Management Solution Centre working to increase efficiency through our current set of digital and IT solutions.

Our existing IT solutions comprises of a mix of varied technologies like Microsoft, Java, and Commercial Off the shelf (COTS) IT solutions and SaaS solutions from CAD and PLM vendors. We find ourselves on the cusp of a transformation with heavy investments to transform and modernize our overall IT architecture.

We are supporting the Volvo Group’s Digital ambitions to become a fully agile, data-driven company, and we are building the foundations for the virtual trust, supported by improved use of digital twins, i.e the digital data representing a physical object as well as an improved digital thread, the integrated view of physical products’ digital data through it’s lifecycle.

Role mission & context

As a Thingworx – IT Architect, your primary mission will be technological watch, Proof of Concepts, pre-studies & implementation:

  • Active contribution to incoming pre-studies on strategical projects
  • Lead the implementation, validation and deployment of ThingWorx Solutions
  • You will work closely with the Delivery manager and Business Owner, securing the deliveries related to the application and with the vendor
  • Create/enhance ThingWorx implementation’s standards for Volvo Group Trucks
  • Active participation in IT Architectural working group

You second principal mission will be to work on projects and maintenance:

  • You will be responsible for the design of ThingWorx applications following Volvo and the product vendor PTC (Parametric Technology Corporation) best practices and roadmap and Volvo Group architectural frameworks
  • You must combine and match business needs with Volvo solutions, as part of a project team

Who are you?

  • Experience from leading the implementation, validation and deployment of scalable, commercial ThingWorx solutions (ThingWorx Navigate / Vuforia)
  • Experience with ThingWorx service and mashup development and integration of ThingWorx with Windchill or other systems
  • Experience in ThingWorx platform setup and infrastructure requirements
  • Competency in object-oriented development patterns in Java /.NET
  • Competency in modern integration standards like RESTful and SOAP Web Services, message-oriented-middleware (MQ)
  • General knowledge of Agile and modern software development lifecycle practices, DevSecOps, and technical documentation (requirements, functional specifications, test plans, etc.)
  • Graduated with a university degree or an engineer school in IT
  • You have a good knowledge also of the latest CAD and PLM architecture
  • You can integrate all architecture disciplines and advise on functional and technical approach for all systems integrating to ThingWorx platform
  • You are comfortable collaborating and delivering results together with team members and a broad set of stakeholders and colleagues with different background and skills areas. You have good communication and presentation skills (written and verbal), and you are fluent in English

We expect you to be curious, have great problem-solving skills and to have a genuine interest in IT.


Some travels are required abroad occasionally.
